Remote PT is two-way, real-time, interactive communication between a patient and a healthcare provider (in this case a physical therapist) from a remote location. Advances in IT infrastructure, communication, and connected medical devices are enabling clinicians to evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients remotely and safely with end-to-end encryption - this means that your information is safe with us. This is great for busy people who don't always have time to go to an appointment or for people that live in remote areas and do not have access to medical services (or those stuck indoors due to a pandemic, I'm looking at you COVID-19). Wow, it's awesome that you can have a session with your physical therapist online, even if you're in a remote location. In my opinion, it's a good advantage to have the ability to talk to your therapist no matter where you are. My sister's traveling to see an old friend, and since she had an injury a few weeks ago, she needs to keep having physical therapy. She's been worried because of that and is thinking about canceling her trip. But after reading your article, I think this could be a good option for her. I appreciate you helping me learn about remote physical therapy and its benefits.
